Even The Strongest Fall            “Kan…?”

            She blinked. Once. Slowly. And didn’t move any more than that.

            “Kan, did…did you hear what I said?” Her sister’s voice, gentle and filled with a cautious tone of diplomacy, broke the stifling silence of the room yet again. The medic blinked again and raised her eyes to her sister’s face, her expression one of concern and, in a sense, fear. Nazo was watching her carefully, as if trying to determine how Kan would react. And Raiden….

            Raiden was standing in the corner, leaning back against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest and looking at his feet, as if afraid to look at Kanmuri directly.

Fu jolted out of her seat and blinked owlishly, looking at the clock the way over the fireplace. "Who would be coming over this time of night?" she muttered to herself and going over to the door, opening it slightly.
Who she saw on the other side made her heart stop for a moment.
Her eyes widened, and the figure gave a painful sounding sigh of relief, "I- I didn't know where else to go. I- I'm so tired." it said.
"S-Sensei?!" She asked, her tone hushed. In a flash she was taken down memory lane, seeing her old Team, her Sensei and Kan so in love, the Mikokage giving them a saddened but serious expression on her face as she told both Fujiko and Hikaru what had happened....

His first instinct when she turned around and stuttered his name was to wrap his arms around her and pick her up but he didn’t. He stood quietly and let her register the sight before her and then of course her brow furrowed immediately as she took in his form and began to heal.

Well sort of. I really really want to be here. I am so crazy busy IRL that I can barely think straight. I'm going to try and be more active and hopefully soon have some time again. I miss you all and love you.
